Open & Shut: Two places open for holiday season

For Every Season featuring Dewey’s Bakery is now open at Burlington Square Mall.

For Every Season is a one-stop holiday shop with Christmas ornaments, holiday wreaths, holiday drink mixes, greeting cards, glass pendants, snow powder and much more. They also carry Moravian cookies and sugar cakes from Winston-Salem’s Dewey’s Bakery.

Find them at center court in Burlington Square Mall at the corner of Huffman Mill Road and South Church Street in Burlington.

The store’s hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Reach them at 278-9020.

ELON HAS A new restaurant.

Owner Jeff MacKenzie describes The Fat Frogg Bar & Grill at Elon University as a great place to take a family with a game area. He also said all food is prepared fresh.

The restaurant is at 2009 Timberline Station Drive in the Timberline Station shopping center.

The menu includes appetizers, salads, burgers and sandwiches. There is a bar and outdoor patio and live music some nights.

I do bunches of each year these. I have a tree full of them, tradition is when somebody stops, they learn to choose an ornament from the tree. This year I really tried hard not to make so many people who look like fire (my favorite) really easy and attractive.

So far my favorite this year is black, white and red, red looks almost like a bleeding heart.

Yeah, not really the type of Christmas thing, but I've never been "normal" one of the trees i put up at Christmas is black. XD

you could do it on a lampshade plastic.but you need to do some preparation work first, as the sand of the area where the painting will be with sandpaper or extra-fine steel wool 00,000.

The reason is that acrylic paint will peel off the plastic. It will peel off glass too, but since the pain is inside of them, you will not run in the problemm thereof chipping and peeling while.

I actually went to buy some clear today: DI only two of them already. Had a little problem with some of my paintings are thicker then others.So I had to mix some in water first (which was more difficult to fall into rattles). They proved good though. I made a Firey as tone, I must say that I'm a fan of color too.

I doubt I'll be able to find everything in the second-hand shop for cleaning, if I do so I'll be sure to clean them off a go.
