Gifts that keep giving

The blankets were marked with a tag that said: "Share the warmth."

As Atkinson began talking with the woman selling the blankets, she learned that they would not go to her grandchildren if she purchased them. They would be given to someone who needed a blanket to keep warm.

Atkinson, who moved here three years ago from Seattle, decided to buy the blankets.

She told her seven grandchildren, ages 4 to 16, that instead of buying a big present for them, she purchased blankets in their names to help others.

It turned out that her grandchildren did not miss the large gifts and other treats she usually bought them for Christmas.

Much to her delight, they even sent notes thanking her for buying for others.

"They loved it," she says. "They said, 'It made me feel so good.' It was such a rewarding experience for me to see that reaction in my grandchildren."

Atkinson enjoyed buying alternative holiday gifts so much that this year she is helping organize the Gifts of Hope Holiday Fair at the church. She also plans to buy gifts for others who need them in her grandchildren's names this year.

I just send children to school some time ago. I rushed to the house that I need to publish some posts. It's late and I want to finish my work before 31 so I can see the payment on the 1st, woot! Oh, not much. Maybe $ 100 + from this company. I have multiple streams of income from my blogs and only one of them. If I were to own a small car like myvi, i income to acquire a company is certainly sufficient to meet installmenat months. Abuthen, i dont have a car now, only a few more months to settle debts. Subsequently, I am a free person. Free of debt. HAPPY!! At Kindy just now, I have seen teachers Gordon talks to a parent. She said that children are Making Christmas Cards soon. Gordon loves art and I hope it makes a nice back this time. Have you ever made your own Christmas cards before? It's almost the end of the school and in the middle of next month, children will be with me every day anew. Hubby did not mention that he could get a place in KL.If so, I'll spend my holiday in KL with her husband and children. Havent lived in the city for a very long time and I wonder if I'll ever get used again. The only thing I am sure that if I spend my holidays always there, I'll be much poorer when I return, lol!
