October rakes in a large number of candy sales each year due to Halloween. According to an analysis done by The Nielsen Company this year, here are some findings about the spooky holiday and consumer buying habits:

Consumers buy less store brand or private label candy for Halloween. Store brand candy holds a larger share annually (8.1 percent) than it does in the weeks leading up to and including the Halloween holiday (5.6 percent). This trend is the same for chocolate and non-chocolate candy divisions.

Approximately $1.9 billion or 598 million pounds of candy is purchased during the Halloween season.

Halloween is the biggest season for chocolate candy, with nearly 90 million pounds of chocolate candy purchased during the week of Halloween. This is compared with only about 65 million pounds of chocolate candy sold during the week leading up to Easter and 48 million pounds of chocolate candy sold during Valentine's week.

Consumers tend to not purchase

Aequare chocolates have an interesting story about the leader who started the company and how they single-origin chocolate and Ecuadorian ingredients and blah blah. You can visit their website for all this. Whether you came here for is to their taste, right?

When asked if I wanted a sample of them review, I've checked and the answer was an immediate HECK YES. This is definitely my kind of thing. On the other hand, it means that I am a tough guy. Since first I was not quite excited about the cocoa beans in dark chocolate, because I really see no reason to eat cocoa beans.I mean, there must be a reason that humanity invented the process that turn them into chocolate, right?

But wow, they were good. I wondered if it was just because the chocolate coating was good, but to remove one and eat the parts separately, I concluded that while the chocolate is actually good, it's all the combination of chocolate and beans is "Wow." It reminds me of the taste of good cocoa powder box. I mean good things like a chocolate truffle sweet could be rolled in (not Swiss Miss Your in an envelope with powder milk).If you like the flavor you'll love these.

And the texture is OK. The grain is perfectly edible, and not hard like a coffee bean.

This actually caused some agitation. ( "Are you finished them? Do not presume to complete. I do not care if I said I was finished writing the exam, putting those down.") I would definitely consider to buy again.

I also received an assortment of six pieces of their chocolates. They are big enough that six seemed to be much, but then I discovered the painful experience of the small collection of chocolates.The flavors that I had seen on the site, I was particularly happy to try - ginger, lemongrass, and passion - have not been included....
